5228785 Fuel Injector — Detroit Diesel

5228785 is supplied new, as an independent aftermarket reproduction built to the fitment and function of the part it replaces. It is not a used or reconditioned unit, and it is not an OEM part.

Fitment is listed, not guaranteed. Listed applications: Detroit Diesel applications (as listed — confirm by old part number). Send the number stamped on your old unit, the engine model and serial, and — where the stamping is worn — a photo of the old part. We check it against the catalog manually and confirm in the quotation. The machine or engine model alone does not select the part.

MOQ for this part is quoted per order. Send the quantity you need and the destination, and the quantity we can actually ship goes into the quotation.

5228785 is an independent aftermarket replacement part, manufactured for BOSTEN and sold under our own brand. It is not a Detroit Diesel OEM part, and BOSTEN is not an authorized Detroit Diesel distributor or dealer. Detroit Diesel names and part numbers appear on this page for identification and cross-reference only.

This listing does not publish a cross-reference list for the part. Send the number on your old unit and we check it against the catalog manually — that check is done by our team, not by a lookup box on this page.

Warranty terms are confirmed per order and written on the quotation before payment. Different product lines and conditions carry different periods, so the terms for this part are not printed here as a generic number. Damage from contaminated oil or fuel and incorrect installation are excluded under the terms confirmed for your order.

Fuel system: EUI electronic unit injector. Injectors from a different fuel system do not interchange with 5228785, even where the engine family name looks similar. The engine plate plus the number on your old injector is what tells us which system your engine actually runs.
